Sony Pictures Entertainment’s Corporate Legal Department is searching for an exceptional attorney who thrives in a collaborative team environment. This position is project-specific with the project’s timeline for the project running twelve months. Reporting to the SVP of Legal – Corporate & Distribution, this attorney’s project will be to serve as the primary Legal resource for Sony Pictures’ legal entity rationalization process. This attorney will advise throughout the entire process, from identifying subject entities to transferring assets (including intellectual property assets) and winding up and dissolving entities in a variety of jurisdictions. The successful candidate will be skilled at drafting, negotiating, and reviewing corporate and commercial documents, post-transaction integration and coordinating with other specialists, including Tax, Finance, Labor, and Intellectual Property.
