As the Fair Banking Senior Associate General Counsel, this position will be responsible for acting as a trust advisor to senior management and Truist’s consumer businesses by supporting and advising on all matters relating to fair banking. Assist the Deputy General Counsel with providing advice and expertise relating to, among other matters, fair lending, the Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices Act (UDAAP), and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). Provide highly specialized fair banking advice and counsel to senior leadership and key internal clients of a critical business unit or function including the Fair Lending Officer and CRA Officer on significant legal, regulatory and business matters impacting or potentially impacting the business unit or function and potentially having a material impact on the overall enterprise legal risk profile. Develop and lead a fair banking team of legal professionals, paraprofessionals and support staff. Finally, this position will provide the opportunity to build productive relationships with key internal clients while serving as a trusted legal advisor, legal risk manager, and business partner.
